Notes on Authors

Ruken Akar-Vural (Ph.D), is Professor, Department of Educational Sciences, Faculty of Education, Aydın Adnan Menderes University, Turkey, https://orcid.org/0000-0002-3137-3753. She has a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction, Çukurova University, 2005; a Master degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Çukurova University, 2000; and a Bachelor’s degree in Primary School Education, Çukurova University, 1997.

Tyrone Grima is a theatre practitioner and author. He currently works as Senior Lecturer and Researcher at MCAST (Malta College for Arts, Science and Technology) in the department of the Performing Arts. His areas of specialisation include queer theatre; the interface between theatre and spirituality; the Theatre of the Oppressed; and the multisensorial approach in theatre making. He also lectures part-time at the University of Malta. Tyrone’s academic research on the theatre has also been published in a number of international journals such as Ecumenica and Critical Stages.

Nurtaç Üstündağ-Kocakuşak (Ph.D), is Assistant Professor, Department of Educational Sciences, Faculty of Education, Aydın Adnan Menderes University, Turkey, https://orcid.org/0000-0002-2014-6571. She has a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction, Aydın Adnan Menderes University, 2019, a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Aydın Adnan Menderes University, 2014; and a Bachelor’s degree in Primary Mathematics Education, Eskişehir Osmangazi University, 2012.

Niall Whitehead has worked extensively with the RSC through the Associate School Programme and Teacher-Researcher Network. He is a teacher and director, working in primary and secondary education, youth theatre, and specialising in Shakespeare performance.
