Lung Theatre’s Devising: The Verbatim Toolkit for KS4 and KS5

Join us for our first LIVE CPD post pandemic, as Matt and Helen from Lung give top tips and practical advice for teaching verbatim at KS4 and KS5 – complete with takeaway resources.

By the end of the morning colleagues will: –

• Have a better understanding of how Matt and Helen work in research and development, making and editing, rehearsal and campaigning phases

• Understand what Verbatim theatre is, some of its history and importance, and ethical considerations

• Have taken part in practical games, activities and exercises we can adapt for our classrooms and learners in their Devising Components

• Have options so students can attain their best potential and enjoy a challenging, relevant and engaging drama process that matters to them personally, and in a bigger context
