Can I use my creative skills to alter their behaviour?

What needs to change in myself, in order to do this?

If you’ve ever wondered how to the answer these questions, this talk is for you!

About the session leader

After graduating from the Rose Bruford College of Drama, in 1986, Phil Richards worked as Head of Drama in a range of mainstream secondary schools, culminating in becoming the Director of Drama at the Brit School for Performing Arts. In addition, he wrote and directed plays for SNAP Theatre Company, trained actors at The Italia Conti Academy and lectured at Goldsmiths University.

Phil combined skills he learnt from the performing arts and education, to found The Complete Works Charity & Independent School in 1999, which works creatively with young people who have disengaged from school, to reignite their interest in learning. TCW employs around 150 staff and has 200 students on role, (www.tcw.org.uk). Phil was the CEO and Headteacher until 2016, when he then took a more consultative role.
